Tigers handle Bears with ease

Missouri – 7 vs Memphis – 63

The University of Memphis Tigers picked up right where they left off last season, on a roll!! Coming of their Miami Beach Bowl victory, they wasted no time getting to work against The Missouri Bears.  Paxton Lynch and crew put 42 points on the board in the first half, that earned him a rest in the second half.

All three Tiger quarterbacks threw for one touchdown.  Jarvis Cooper lead the way rushing, with 102 yards and two touchdowns.  Jamarius Henderson added 73 more yards and another touchdown.  Drooling Dorceus ran for 19 yards and scored 2 touchdowns.

Mose Frazier was the leading receiver for the Tigers with 89 yards and two touchdowns.  Jae’lon Oglesby contributed 19 receiving yards and one touchdown.

 

Next week the Tigers are on the road against Kansas to face the Jayhawks.
