Grizzlies Win in Double Overtime
On Friday December 12, 2014 the Grizzlies take on the Charlotte Hornets for the second time this season. The game went into two overtimes. The Grizzlies grinded their way to victory.
Zach Randolph was the teams leading scorer with 20 points and 11 redounds. Mike Conley and Marc Gasol add 19 points apiece. Tony Allen was one point away from a double double with nine points and ten rebounds. Lee scored another 13 points. The Grizzlies received a 34 point effort from their bench.
Pondexter strikes first for the Grizzlies in the First OT with a 3 pointer. 95-92. Tony Allen then forces the shot clock violation for the hornets. Grizz ball. Pondexter misses 2nd attempt for a 3 in ot. Hornets score. 95-94. Gasol hits a fade away to make the score 97-94. Both teams trade buckets until the Hornets have a 102 99 lead. Vince Carter hits a 3 pointer to tie the game at 102 forcing another overtime.
The Grizzlies outscored the Hornets 11-5 in he second overtime. And it went a little something like this:

Zbo rebounds. 238 on the clock Conley baskets. 107-102. Hornets score 107-105. Conley misses. Zbo rebounds. Grizz ball. Zbo fade away 109-105 grizz. Hornets miss. Zbo rebounds.
Hornets time out :59.6 on the clock. Zbo blocks the shot no foul. Tony Allen fouls. Hornets miss at the line. Zbo rebounds. :29.5 on the clock. Grizzlies turn the ball over with a long pass. Hornets miss. Connly is fouled and is at the line 21 seconds on the clock. Conley makes both free throws. 111-105 grizz.
