Mr. We Don’t Bluff Loves The Kids

Thursday afternoon Zach Randolph tipped off the Memphis Grizzlies  Season of Giving activities.  In conjunction with CashSaver grocery stores, Zach Randolph and the Grizzlies team up to provide 500 South Memphis families with a turkey and other items just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

On the court  Randolph is known for giving NBA teams a hard time.  Off the court he is known for giving back to the community.  No doubt that his charitable acts are blessings to the families that he is able to help but  to Randolph, the bigger blessing to him is actually being able to give back and put a smile on kids faces.

“I can relate to it.”  Randolph recalls, ” I was on of those kids coming to get baskets for my mother.  He goes on to say  “This is what it’s all about.  It’s not for the cameras or for the media.  It’s for the kids and the families.  It’s a blessing for me to be able to give back and be here for these kids.

When he was growing up no professional athletes or celebrities came to his neighbirhood to give back.  ” I wish I could have seen Reggie Miller or sonebody come thru.”

Stay tuned to wedontbluff.net for other Memphis Grizzlies Season of Giving activities.

The Grizzlies  are back on the court tomorrow night to host the Houston Rockets.  For tickets to this and other games visit Grizzlies.com.
