Coming into tonight’s game, the Memphis Grizzlies have won ten in a row against  the Detroit Pistons.   In the second game of a back to back, the Grizzlies let one slip away in the fourth quarter to the Detroit Pistons,  105-95.

Jeff Green was the Grizzlies leading scorer with 21 points, five rebounds, one assist, and two steals.  Marc Gasol earned a double double with 17 points, 11, rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block.  Vince Carter had a huge night with 14 points, three rebounds and one assist.  Randolph filled up the stat sheet again with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Memphis leads by 15 at the half and as many as 16 in the game.  That lead diminished unto a ten point defeat.

Tayshaun Prince who started the season with the Memphis Grizzlies but has since been traded and is now back where he started his NBA career, with the Detroit Pistons.  Kentavious Caldwell-Popen led the Pistons in scoring with 24 points,  16 of which came in the third quarter.  Reggie Jackson went for 23 points and a career high 20 assists.

Mike Conley is still day to day with his sprained ankle.  He did not travel with the team to Detroit, he stayed in Memphis to receive treatment.  The Grizzlies next game is Friday in Dallas as they take on the 43 – 25 Mavericks.  The Grizzlies return to the FedEx Forum Saturday night to play the Portland Trailblazers.
