RiverFit: Grizzness Fitness

Many Memphians like to run, picnic and take pictures by the river.  Thanks to the Grizzlies, Memphians can now enjoy a complete workout down by the riverside!  This past Saturday, August 15, 2015 people could enjoy a range of workouts to benefit the entire body.  The event kicked off with a 500 meter row competition with Memphis Rowing, Volleyball with 901 Volleyball, and a riverside walk with Fleet Feet Sports.  Other morning events included Yoga with Delta Groove Yoga, Food Geek and Mempops Food trucks.  RiverFit August 15th ended with two unique events sponsored by Co-Motion Studio: Hula Hooping and Parkour.

The Grizzlies are working on a relaunch of RiverFit.  We Don’t Bluff Sports Blog will keep you posted as we are informed of dates of more community events.  In the meantime, continue to enjoy burning calories with the battle ropes and free fitness environment of Tom Lee Park!
