Team Up to Fight Cancer!
Like supporting the Tigers and The University of Memphis? WeDontBluff.net/Bluff City Sports Blog encourages you to participate in or donate to a University of Memphis Service Event on April 24th at 6pm. As of today, they have 18 teams and 222 participants that have raised over $4,500 for their Relay for Life Event! Here is a schedule of events:
6 pm: Opening Ceremony
630 pm: Survivors lap (All cancer survivors take the 1st lap around the track as others cheer them on!)
640 pm: Caregivers lap (Anyone who has cared for someone with cancer walks a lap.)
9 pm: Luminaria Ceremony (A ceremony to remember lost loved ones to cancer and to help with grief. It is also to support those who are still fighting cancer.)
11 pm: Spirit of relay (to announce fundraising achievements of the relay)
