Coming off of a hard to swallow loss to the Dallas Mavericks, the Grizzlies are seeking homecourt redemption against the Portland Trailblazers.  Well, now they will have to wait until after the All Star break to experience the sweet taste of victory in the Grindhouse.

The Grizzlies were no doubt in for a long night when Marc Gasol leaves the game in the 1st quarter with a foot injury.  At this point, everybody on the roster is playing through some sort of injury or ailment.  Brandon Wright is recovering from surgery.

Marc Gasol scored 11 points in 11 minutes on the court before leaving the game with right foot injury.  With Gasol out of the game  Mike Conley and Zach Randolph and Mike Conley combined for 53 points in their best attempt to will the Grizzlies to victory.  Along with his 27 points Mike Conley  added three assists and grabbed three rebounds.  Randolph was one rebound shy of a triple double with 26 points and nine rebounds.  Tony Allen scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds.  Allen blames himself for the loss  due to missed free throws and lay ups during the final minutes of regulation.

The Grizzlies final game before the All Star break is Wednesday in Brooklyn as they take on the Nets.  Following the All Star Break the Grizzlies return to action on Friday Feb.19th as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves.  After the game on the 19th, fans will also be treated to a postgame concert by Pastor Beverly Crawford.  Come socialize with us: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+.
