Friday night the Cleveland Cavaliers are in Memphis to take on the Grizzlies.  The first time the two teams met this season on Dec. 21. Cleveland won 105-91.  Kyrie Irving leads the Cleveland Cavaliers with 24 points as they defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 111 – 89.  This is the first season sweep of the Grizzlies by the Cavaliers since the ’08-’09 season.

Tony Allen had the following thoughts on thee game: “A lot of things went wrong,we missed opportunities at the basket. When they went to the 1-5 pick and roll, the guys were making perimeter threes; obviously they made 14 threes. Once they start making those threes outside then you can pick your poison, coming of that pick and roll you can decide if you want to hit the roller or throw it back out to the perimeter for three. Once they got comfortable doing that, the game was in their possession.”

Kevin Love recorded his third double double in four games with 22 points and 14 rebounds.  LeBron James finished the game with 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

The Grizzlies next game is Friday night when the host the Golden State Warriors. Then they hit he road to take on the San Antonio Spurs  and return home Monday Night to host the Sacramento Kings.
