Grizzlies: 1st stop L.A.

Grizzlies embark on a 4 game road trip before returning home to host The San Antonio Spurs.  Memphis travels to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers on 11/26, Portland Trail Blazers on 11/28, Sacramento Kings on 11/30, and the Houston Rockets on 12/3.

Marc Gasol is coming off of back to back 30 point games.  He currently leads the Grizz in scoring with 19.9 points per game.  Z-Bo leads the team in rebounding  with 11.8 per game.  Mike Conley is the Grizzlies assist leader with 6.1 per game.  The team that was recently hit with a stomach bug has recovered and healthy.  If they are able to stay healthy and maintain the level of the play that we have seen recently, everything should go according to plan.

Although Kobe Bryant is leading the league in scoring, the Lakers are not leading the league in victories.  They have only won three games.  The Grizzlies gave the Lakers one of their eleven losses.  During that loss is when Bryant set the NBA all time record for missed field goals, and he hasn’t stopped shooting the ball.  He is the Lakers leading scorer averaging 26.7 points per game.

The Grizzlies can make a big statement by winning the games on this road trip. It will let the non believers know that WE DON’T BLUFF  in the Bluff City.
