Busy night at the FedEx Forum Friday night:  beer tasting in the Draft Room, Star Wars Night,  and the Hornets Vs Grizzlies game.  The game tipped off at 7 p.m.   The beer started flowing at 5  p.m. in the Draft Room on the Club Level.

Friday was the second of six beer tasting nights this (2015-16) season.  Attendees receive a commemorative pint size beer glass, unique to each event.  Make plans to attend the  rest of the beer tastings so you can ad the glasses to your collection.

 Sam Pritikin and Justin Pipes greeted ticket holders a they entered the Draft Room.  A buffet of beef barbecue and macaroni and cheese bites was provided for those in attendance.  Pritikin serves a group sales account executive for the Memphis Grizzlies and Justin Pipes as an activation coordinator.  “The beer tasting event is a single game style promotion.  In addition to bringing in additional revenue, the event is also another fun pre game event for fans to enjoy”  says Pritikin.  He adds “this event is a great opportunity to showcase and introduce the beers that we have on tap to the fans”.  Justin Pipes partnered with Anthony Jones of Eagle Distributing to increase brand awareness and positively impact brand perception.  Of the beers on hand in the Draft Room Pipes’ says his favorite is the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

The Grizzlies are in action again on Sunday, when they their talents to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat.  The Grizzlies return to their home court on Monday to host the Washington Wizards.  The next beer night is Jan. 8th when the Denver Nuggets come to town.  For ticket information click here or cll 901-888-HOOP (4667).
