Raleigh Egypt – 6 Vs Melrose – 32

Last Friday night the injury ridden Melrose Golden Wildcats hosted the Raleigh Egypt Pharoah’s in their first home game of the season.   Melrose starting quarterback Adhai Page  is out with a broken wrist.

On his 17th birthday, backup quarterback DaQuan Dallas leads his team to victory. Dallas missed last week’s game against Montgomery Bell due to an injury re sustained during the previous weeks game against Covington.  Melrose’s defense held the Pharaohs to only six points.  The Golden Wildcats scored six touch downs but were only able to convert on one 2-point attempt.

When asked what was the difference in this game and the past two games Coach Ford said, “We were focused this week and we finally got a home game.”

This Friday night the Golden Wildcats of Melrose host the Wildcats of Fayette Ware.
