Z-Bo Does It Again!!

Just a couple of weeks ago Zach Randolph blessed 500 families in the Booker T. Washington High School area with Holiday food baskets just in time for Thanksgiving.  On yesterday evening Z-Bo did it again.  This time he blessed 500 more families with Holiday food baskets.  Around 3 p.m. selected families gathered in the Hamilton High School gymnasium to receive their baskets.

For Randolph the true blessing for him is him being able to help families that are living in similar situations that he grew up in.  Giving back to the city is something that is as much a part of who he is as he is a part of the city.  Expect more philanthropic acts from Mr. Randolph in the near and distant future.

On December 5th he will sponsor 100 kids from the Memphis-area Boys and Girls Club to go to Batesville, MS to ride The Polar Express train.  The Polar Express is the latest holiday adventure to be sponsored by Zach Randolph.  Dancing elves will serve hot-chocolate while pajama -clad passengers read along to the popular book and eat cookies.

The generosity doesn’t stop there.  This coming Monday (Dec. 7) Z-Bo and the Grindfather Tony Allen team up with the Memphis Grizzlies to provide 200 children from area Boys & Girls Clubs with a $100 Toys R Us gift card.  Gift card recipients will be able to go on a one hour shopping spree.

Tonight the Grizzlies are back in action on the court to redeem themselves from the Nov. 21 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.  Be on the look out for our write -up about the game and the experience of enjoying a Grizzlies game from one of the suites at the Fed Ex forum.  For single game tickets and more information about the Naughty and Nice Holiday game packs click here or dial 901-888-HOOP (4667).
